Boredom is one feeling that you’re never going to experience during your vacation in Los Sueños, and if you’re not too wiped out from the day’s adventures there is also plenty to be said for its nightlife scene, both within the Resort, and nearby Jaco Beach and Playa Hermosa.
The best time to visit Costa Rica is from mid-December to April (also referred to as the dry season). Although it is the most popular and touristed season, it boasts plenty of sunshine making it an ideal time to explore rainforests and lounge on beaches.
The rainy season begins in May and typically lasts through November. However, this time of year could be the most beautiful, lush and green. During this season, nature comes alive with vibrant colors and the mountains and jungle surrounding the Jaco Beach area showcase lush flora and abundant wildlife. The rainy season is an amazing time to visit as the dust and dry disappear and the temperatures drop slightly. The average high is around 86 degrees, and the average low is 71 degrees. Not to mention there’s nothing like watching a soft rain and feeling a cool breeze on the balcony of your luxury retreat.
Whether you travel during the rainy or dry season, you are sure to find a unique adventure in Costa Rica. The temperatures are always warm, and you can find different activities based on the weather of the day. So, if you have an open-mind and are ready to experience an exceptional location filled with more vibrance and adventure you could possibly imagine, Costa Rica – no matter the season – is the place for you.
